The Sea Park in the town is probably the most beautiful one on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is situated on a high shore all of it smothered in flower beds, trees and sculptures. A stroll through the seven-kilometer park reveals the heart of Bourgas, graced with lively sidewalk cafes, restaurants, bars, or snack food joints which line the connecting pedestrian promenades of Bogoridi and Alexandrovska streets.

Chapel “St. Zosim” is built in 1857 in the city park, over the ruins of a mediaeval church.The greatest treasure of the chapel is an icon painted by the great master Dimitar of Sozopol. It also treasures many icons from the second half of the XIX century. There is a built-in marble gravestone in the front part of the temple “St. Zosim”, which dates back from the V century B.C.

Monastery complex on island “St. Ivan” X – XVII century, is a unique monument of the Christian architecture. The complex includes the churches – “St. Mother of God Kaleosa” – a three-room basilica X – XVII century, “St. Ivan Precursor ” XII – XIV century, a kitchenette, an abbacy and sixteen cells from the north and west gables of the monastery.
